Now is not the time to worry about losing weight. But on that note, after your last marathon, your body probably went into recovery mode where it tries to store more water and glycogen in the muscles to speed recovery so that would explain your gain. In the mean time, don't worry about calories in and out, just eat healthy food and don't go hungry. You can't lose enough weight to make a difference in one month. Wait until May and then start tracking again for NYC, because it will make a difference if you can lose some weight, but it can really hurt you if you restrict too much close to a race and lead to bonking.
Besides according to your blog, losing weight isn't the reason you are running/becoming an athlete. It's to be healthy and be a positive role model to your kids. So don't get hung up on that number on the scale. It's more important that you feel good and are healthy than how much you weigh.
keep up the good work and remember to always have fun.$Billhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06178511420952444232noreply@blogger.com
